It must be Haunted Forest time! The Catty Shack Ranch is into their second week of their Haunted Forest Halloween!
Celebrate Halloween the Catty Shack way! The fun starts under the big tent at the front of the property; children of all ages can enjoy crafts and games throughout the night (games, crafts and face painting are included in admission cost).
Then take a nighttime stroll to say hello to all the animals and, if you’re really brave, walk through the Haunted Forest!
Costumes are encouraged, but not required. All children will get a bag of candy at the end of their night. There are sure to be more surprises, so make sure to visit the Catty Shack Ranch for Haunted Forest Halloween!
Remaining dates: Friday, October 19, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 1:30 pm until 9:00 pm.
Cost: Adults: $10, Children (3-11) $5, 2 & Under: Free

The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary has dedicated itself to the rescue and care of big cats. They provide sanctuary to big cats confiscated by the state for illegal ownership, abuse and other forms of maltreatment. The Ranch also runs an endangered species breeding program. Their mission statement reads;
“The mission of Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is to provide a safe environment to many of the great cat species that are endangered or threatened due to loss of natural habitat. Our primary focus is in the rescue of cats from serious situations. Once an animal is taken in at Catty Shack, they have a home for life.
