A Tale of two businesses, or how Murray Hill got its Perfect Rack back

This past All Hallows’ Eve  Sleiman Enterprises put up a fence blocking access to the rear areas of Perfect Rack Billiards, Buchner’s Bierhalle, Blackhat Vapor, and Beautifully Divine DIY Woodcraft Studio & Custom Gift Boutique.

That action initially caused the closure of Perfect Rack Billiards kitchen.
More details in our earlier story here.

Then on Wednesday of this week the Fire Marshall ordered all 4 businesses to cease and desist as Sleiman Enterprises’s fence had blocked the rear fire exits of the businesses.
More details in our earlier story here.

Much of Murray Hill, and Jacksonville at large, erupted  in anger directed at  Sleiman Enterprises. So much anger that  Sleiman Enterprises was forced to remove the “review” option from their facebook page and, more than likely, had an employee(s) working overtime to delete all the negative comments that were posted to their business page.

And yet,  Sleiman Enterprises did not budge and their fence still stands.
Fortunately, another property management company with ownership of other buildings on the block came to the rescue. That company is Goin Coastal Properties LLC.

Sleiman Enterprises  put up a fence blocking exit on the Plymouth Street side, causing the closure of the other businesses. Goin Coastal Properties LLC has agreed to work with Perfect Rack to open up the Mayflower side, and to do whatever is necessary to satisfy the City and the Fire Marshall, allowing all the businesses to reopen.

With the City’s okay, Perfect Rack Billiards will reopen both their kitchen and pool hall tomorrow at 5 PM.
We will share the other businesses reopening times as they are provided.

Thank you Goin Coastal Properties LLC., for being a good neighbor!
