Zombies, barbers and burlesque dancers drink a Molotov Cocktail

Sunday I attended a Zombie Sock Hop sponsored and hosted by Jacksonville Zombie Walk & Pomade and Tonic Barbershop.

Pomade and Tonic is a traditional barbershop that incorporates the care of the barber from early 20th century with the look and feel and personal attention and quality of the 40’s-60’s barbershops, with an addition of a lounge area and private rooms for additional services.
They also have a pool table!
Pomade and Tonic is active in the local community and frequently sponsors such events.

Zombies and humans gathered together for food, music, fun and to help out the Second Harvest Food Bank with non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items.

There was a Zombie vs Human Pin-up Contest as well as a King and Queen of the Sock Hop contest.
