The Healing Arts Group is a peer recovery and wellness group specifically designed for, developed by, and facilitated by peers. Each group activity is designed around SAMHSA’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness and encourage expressive arts as a healing modality. Groups gently explore topics related to emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of wellness and help individuals process challenges, feelings and promote positive coping skills.
You don’t have to call yourself an “artist” to participate and there is no fee.
You take your creation home with you! We like to start group on time but if you are running behind don’t worry! In order to honor one another in a calming and peaceful environment we ask that no children attend. Ages 15+ are welcome.
