Every Thursday in April James Weldon Johnson Park hosts Poetry in the Park from 12pm – 1pm – presented by Hope at Hand, Inc.
This Thursday’s featured Poet:
A.H.Y.N.T.E. at first sight may make your tongue quiver due to fear of imminent mispronunciation. Despite the unique arrangement of letters it is pronounced simply Ant. It’s an acronym, meaning ‘All Have Yearnings None Truer than Enlightenment’. It’s his mantra, and true focus for his life.
Located in a beautiful James Weldon Johnson Park this open mic event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, connect with others, and express yourself creatively. Whether you’re a seasoned poet or a first-time performer, we welcome all voices and perspectives to take the stage and share their unique poetry.
So grab your lunch and join us for a mid-day break filled with poetry and inspiration, emceed by the one and only Love Reigns! Admission is free, and all are welcome to participate or simply listen and enjoy. Let’s come together as a community and celebrate the healing power of poetry!
