Today marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the constitutional right to vote in our country. Mayor Curry issued a proclamation honoring this milestone and all who fought for women’s suffrage. We encourage all citizens to honor those ideals today and remember the brave people who paved the way for women to have the right to vote.
