Jacksonville Beach lifeguards say they handled a record number of calls for assistance last month, prompting them to urge beachgoers to be cautious and heed flag warnings. Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue responded to 56 calls last Saturday, a record for a June day, and that was on top of 110 previous calls for help this month, also a record. (Action News Jax)
