Despite concerns that federal oversight would limit the Jacksonville Transportation Authority’s ability to display different lighted color schemes on the Acosta Bridge, including Pride lights honoring the LGBTQ+ community, the agency says rainbow lights are a go for this coming week.
From June 6 through 10, JTA plans to run rainbow lights from the bridge in observation of Pride Month, which celebrates LGBTQ+ visibility, the agency confirmed.
