JSO is trying to locate whoever made a bomb threat earlier this morning that shut down streets in the around Baptist Hospital and Wolfson Children’s Hospital Downtown. The hospitals were not evacuated as police searched Baptist’s nearby One Call building, the specific target of the threat which was evacuated by building management. There was no bomb but the bomb threat diverted valuable resources and is a serious crime. Any information about the threat and or those responsible should be reported to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The perpetrator(s) could face up to 15 years in prison.
