Mayor Lenny Curry announced this morning that the City of Jacksonville along with Baptist Health Jacksonville and Telescope Health are providing Duval County residents with a drive through COVID-19 testing site at the Prime Osborn Convention Center (1000 Water Street). Testing begins Friday, March 20th from 11am to 7pm.
Before going to the testing site, patients must complete a screening and receive a physician order through the virtual health platform Telescope Health at TelescopeHealth.com. You can also download the Telescope Health app. Physician orders from other sources will not be accepted. If you qualify for testing, please bring your driver’s license, a pen, and the Telescope Health physician order to your appointment.
The physician you speak with will determine if you meet the following criteria for COVID-19 testing:
O A fever of 100.4°F or higher combined with either a dry cough or shortness of breath, OR
O Travel on any cruise ship within the past 14 days or travel to a known COVID-19 hotspot and are experiencing any of the symptoms above.
O This testing will be prioritizing those in the community who are ages 65 are over, have pre-existing conditions, healthcare workers and/or first responders.
The cost to be screened and tested is $25 with the promo code HERE4YOU. Without a code, the fee is $49. This fee will be reimbursed back to you by the City at a later date.
