Dinner service expanded at DCPS

Beginning Monday, April 20, grab-and-go dinner service will be available at 49 additional school locations. This brings the total number of school sites serving three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to more than 100.

You can view the complete list of sites serving dinner here. All three meals can be picked up at the same time.  Pickup times are 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Meals are also delivered to neighborhood elementary school bus stops

Also beginning next week, DCPS will be adding select food items to our lunch and dinner menus that can be cooked/heated at home. You can view the meal storage and cooking instructions  for info on how to create a hot meal at home.  Just look for the (heat at home) button next to the food item on the menus page.

Reminder – Meal service is provided for school-aged children 5-18 years old. Family members picking up meals without the student present must provide a valid form of identification.

Valid ID may include a school identification card, child’s passport, government-issued child identification card, or any document proving parent/guardian identity and relationship to the child, such as an adoption decree; doctor, clinic, or hospital record; religious record; or daycare center record.
