Celebrate the best of summer with Bluegrass, Beer and Barbecue in the heart of the city.
Enjoy a free concert by performers including The Wetland Stringband, Rusty Shine, The Firewater Tent Revival, and Cain’t Never Could, along with a local market. delicious food truck fare and cold beverages in beautiful Hemming Park.
The music is free.
Vendors and food trucks will accept cash or card. Bands start at 5 pm
There will be 100 plus seats, first come, first seated. You are encouraged to bring your own folding chair. Downtown on street parking is free on the weekend.
Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Friends of Hemming Park will have treats and a water bowl for them near the bar.
There will be a kids zone with activities by My Gym Jacksonville from 5 to 8:30.
A few rules:
No coolers in the park.
No alcohol unless purchased from Friends of Hemming Park.
No smoking near food trucks, seating areas, or kids zone.
If you find something, bring it to the VIP check-in table. If you lose something, look for it there.If you need help with anything at all, ask the ambassadors (wearing green Hemming Park shirts) or security.They are there to make sure you have a great day.
