Animal Care & Protective Services needs your help

ACPS is full-they are currently caring for 253 dogs and 183 cats in the shelter. They are thankful to everyone in the community that has adopted and fostered! You made a difference but there are still many animals in need.
Here’s how you can help!
Adopt or Foster: They need the most help with dogs over 45 pounds. Stop by the shelter and they can find a great match for you. Adoptions are free all through Sunday, October 24th.Help Lost Dogs Reunite with their Families: Before bringing a lost dog to the shelter try to reunite them with their owner. Did you know that most lost dogs are found less than a mile away from home?

Ask for help: If you need help please ask ACPS. They want to keep pets with their families and may be able to direct you to resources that can do just that..

Donate: ACPS can always use soft treat like pupperoni, velveeta style cheese, kitten food, Vienna sausages and hot dogs. Support ACPS partners Friends of Jacksonville Animals. They provide advanced medical care for ACPS and support pet owners in the community.

The animal loving community of Jacksonville is amazing and ACPS knows we can do this! Thank you for your support!
