Three annual events have been erased from Jacksonville’s 2024-2025 calendar, creating some wiggle room for the new city budget. Over $500,000 was “saved” by canceling the annual Jax River Jams concert series. The Sea & Sky Air Show has also been canceled, as has Bethune Cookman University’s football team home games at EverBank Stadium. Those two cancellations “save” an additional $540,000.
