Jacksonville is BIG. It’s the largest city in the continental U.S., covering 840 square miles, which means there are many hidden gems, like Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail.
The trail is contiguous with the Camp Milton Historic Preserve, which serves as a mid-point trailhead. Five other trailheads along the Rail Trail are located at Imeson Road, Halsema Road, Otis Road, the old trail depot in the City of Baldwin, and Brandy Branch Road. Learn more.
The City of Jacksonville wants your help in highlighting the places that make our City unique. There are two ways to participate:
- USE THE #SHAREYOURSQUARE HASHTAG
Show everyone what you love most about where you live, work, or play by posting a photo using #ShareYourSquare and tagging @CityOfJax on Facebook or Twitter.
2. SEND City of Jacksonville a photo.
Send the name, address, and a picture (if possible) of the location that makes your square mile special to socialmedia@coj.net and we’ll share it on our social media channels.
