LED street lighting isn’t good for baby sea turtles: Hatchlings confuse it for the moonlight that attracts them to the water. To help keep the turtles from being lured in the wrong direction, Beaches Energy Services is installing new lighting which has a different output than standard streetlights. The lights are being placed in 35 spots along Jax Beach. (WJCT News)
