Ian Ranne and Christina Wagner are working hard to open up Rain Dogs.
rain dogs.
A riverside cafe that celebrates our artists, musicians and visionaries while feeding your face with healthy local fare, brews and wines.
They need a little help with some unexpected expenses and the high cost of dealing with the government.
To that end they have a fundraising campaign going on at Indiegogo.
Help them out if you are able.
About us
Every great city relies on a strong foundation; innovators, inventors and the creative class. We believe the arts strongly contribute to this vision and our plan is to expose, highlight and celebrate the few willing to make these great ideas a reality. As fellow contributors, our dream has always been to provide a type of space to allow future ideas to grow and flourish; just as others have inspired us. We are both Douglas Anderson alumni and have been a part of the local music and arts scene for the past 16 years, setting up and performing in countless live events, contributing to local charities and, in general, keeping the urban core vibrant. We intend to make this space riverside’s living room. A meeting place to exchange ideas, to network and to learn from eachother. Invest in us and we’ll invest in our city’s future.
In exchange for your contribution
We almost made it, but still need your help! Due to unforseen repairs to equipment, hefty city costs and dreams bigger than our budget, we have fallen slightly short of our vision. By investing in us you’ll help us with the stage and audio equipment, an espresso machine and the tools to build a community bookshelf. In celebration of our opening we are offering a one time mug club deal, “The Chihuahuah” for six months, or “The Great Dane” for a year. After this fundraiser ends, there will be no more memebers. Take advantage of this offer before it ends and be a part of our future.
Your impact
A blank canvas is just a piece of material, let’s do something with it. After art school and/or college, whether we chose to pursue our dreams or found that life just doesn’t have the plan for us that we did, expression shouldn’t die with time or hopelessness. It should be open to all those who have the passion and the need for it in our lives. By helping out, you can give them that opportunity. A true public gallery.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you are unable to contribute financially, please do so by sharing this to anyone who might be interested in helping our cause. Every “share” is appreciated and word of mouth is golden to us. We hope to see you all July 1st!!
