“Tuesday’s in Five Points are getting poetic.” Tuesdays from 8 to 10pm Rain Dogs serves up Poetry Open Mic at Rain Dogs. There will be a sign up sheet. Participants have 5-10 minutes to perform. This Tuesday’s event will be their inaugural poetry night.

Poetry Open Mic at Rain Dogs will be hosted by Ms. Kathleen Shelton.
Ms. Shelton has previously hosted Poetry Night at Shanty, Chamblin’s Uptown Poetry Open Mic, as well as Story Time events and interactive readings with Adriftjax.

Ms. Shelton has an Instagram for her poetry nights, Kes Poetry Night.
She was handpicked by Christina Wagner to host the Poetry Open Mic at Rain Dogs. If you knew nothing else about her, that would be enough.
