Jax residents can learn how to help prevent opioid overdose deaths through an online training seminar this week. Hosted by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and Drug Free Duval, the seminars teach how to recognize signs of overdosing and how to administer the overdose reversal drug Narcan. The free training begins at noon, next Friday, with free Narcan kits being offered to residents of Duval County. Register here.
