In years past you’d have to hop a plane to Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines or Cambodia and track down a street vendor to sample the magic that is Thai ice cream rolls.
No need to pack a bag any longer. Magic Sweet House is now open for business.
Magic Sweet House is Jacksonville’s home for Thai ice cream rolls, Hong Kong waffles, Japanese crepes, and Taiwan light bulb drinks.
Thai ice cream rolls are a hand made ice cream dessert made with milk poured on an iced grill, mixed with fruit and various fresh ingredients and many different toppings. Magic Sweet House has a Menu board filled well past capacity with all the different flavors, combinations and possibilities!
Hong Kong waffles are also a popular street food and the ones served by Magic Sweet House haven’t lost any of their crunch on the trip over. Likewise, the Japanese crepes, and Taiwan light bulb drinks are popular street food in their respective countries.
The light bulb drink is just that, a drink, originally a tea of one sort or another, but now various juices and even cocktails, served in light bulb shaped cups.
Many establishments in Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan use a sales gimmick of hostesses with large bosoms to sell the drinks.
You won’t find that sort of magic at the Magic Sweet House but there are plenty of other cool treats for you to sink your teeth into.
