Les Vixens Burlesque served it up hot and saucy, with just the right amount of cheese for Pizza Fest 4, Sunday night, at Nighthawks.
Les Vixens are a post-modern rock n’ roll burlesque experience. Glitter & glam, girls & go-go, burlesque beauties that leave audiences breathless.
And, in the case of Pizza Fest, dying for another slice.
Les Vixens utilized the power of three and charmed their audience accordingly.
Ivy Les Vixens
Ivy is the ringleader of the Les Vixens. The last time I had the pleasure of watching one of her performances at Nighthawks, it wasn’t Nighthawks. It was The Norm Jax.
That was about five years ago. Back then she was beautiful, talented and a joy to watch. Now she’s more beautiful, more talented, and yes, even more of a joy to watch. She is a real life Princess by day and Burlesque royalty by night.
In between she visits sick children in hospitals, in full princess regalia.
“There is nothing in the world like visiting a children’s hospital and making a child smile. I am so unbelievably grateful to have the opportunity to brighten their day – every hug, every moment, every chance to engage gets me like nothing else.”
~Ivy while visiting Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa.
She started the show Sunday, not in princess regalia but in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle attire. She may have been wearing a half shell but there was nothing half shelled about her performance.
I was very happy I went to the show. And Ivy, yes I was happy to see you, but that was just my camera lens poking you. nothing else. I saw you coming in for a landing and tried to clear the runway but you were just too fast for me.
Lady Bri Adonis
The moment Lady Bri took the stage I had Bob Seger’s Mainstreet playing in my heart.
“There was this long lovely dancer in a little club downtown
I loved to watch her do her stuff
Through the long lonely nights she filled my sleep
Her body softly swaying to that smoky beat
Down on Mainstreet.”
We weren’t downtown and were a good 8-10 miles away from Main Street but Lady Bri’s legs were long, she was lovely, and everyone present loved watching her do her stuff.
Mayven Missbehavin
Mayven had everyone behaving, as she danced a flame filled dance of passion and fire.
When she swallowed that fire there were oohs and ahhs, and a couple guys just about choked on their pizza. Amateurs.
The Les Vixens didn’t choke though. Their performance was filled with turtle power, sultriness, passion and quite a few cowabungas! There was also suggestive pizza eating and strategic placing of pizza on various body parts.
Their costumes were creative and provocative as were their moves. Their curves were dangerous and their hearts were pure, though I’m not sure the same could be said of the audience.
Thank you Les Vixens! Thank you Pizza Fest!
