Justice For George Floyd and all Police Victims Caravan

Jacksonville Community Action Committee, a black led, grassroots organization created to fight for justice and liberation, invites all of Jacksonville to participate in their Justice For George Floyd and all Police Victims Caravan.

On May 30th there will be protests all over the country.

In Jacksonville, along with community members and other organizations, we will be holding a caravan demanding:

1) the release of body cam footage in all cases of JSO shootings especially in the police killings of Jamee Johnson, Kwamae Jones, Reginald Boston and others.

2) the end of excessive force by JSO and community control of the police

3) the release of inmates to stop the spread of COVID-19 and transparency in numbers of those inmates with COVID as well as sanitation reports of facilities

We will he participating in a caravan protest outside of the Duval County jail.

We will me meeting at the empty lot across from the jail off E. Bay Street near JSO which is at 501 E. Bay Street, at 3PM.
