The Historic Springfield Tour of Homes is a two-day event, on both May 19 & 20, from 12 noon to 5pm. In the 40th year of the event, you’ll find EIGHT homes on the Tour open to the public, including five beautifully renovated century-old residences styled with a mix of vintage and modern decor, two innovative new construction homes built to reflect historic architecture, and one gorgeous commercial-to-residential loft renovation. Tickets are valid both days of the Tour. Children 12 & under are free. Tickets purchased online during the Early Bird period will be redeemed at Will Call at the event starting location (1501 N. BICYCLE TOUR:
A guided bicycle tour edition is also available for guests, FREE with purchase of a regular Tour of Homes ticket and your own bicycle. In this extended version, Leigh Burdett of e2ride bike tours will guide guests throughout the neighborhood, including homes on the Tour, highlighting the historical locations, people and architecture along the way.

NAVIGATING THE TOUR:
A Tour map and guide will be provided to all guests at the starting location: Southern Moss Realty Company at 1501 N. Main Street. Many walk or bicycle the Tour route, but some may wish to drive. The entire Tour route is about 1.5 miles.
PARKING:
Parking can be found on the curb near the starting location or other public lots near by.
RAFFLE:
Each guest has a chance to win gift baskets full of goods from local businesses such as Sweet Pete’s Candy, local craft breweries and artisans. Always popular at the Tour, just submit your name and contact information at the Tour starting point to enter the raffle. Winners are notified within 48 hours and the baskets are delivered within 14 days.
EATING AT THE TOUR:
If you work up an appetite while enjoying the Tour, Uptown Kitchen & Bar (1303 N. Main Street) and Crispy’s Springfield Gallery (1735 N. Main Street) are both conveniently located, featuring popular menus and full bars. GuanaBana Ice Pops will be stationed at the Tour start as well, serving handcrafted popsicles made with all-natural ingredients.
AFTER THE TOUR:
Check out two of Jacksonville’s newest breweries, Hyperion Brewing Company (1740 N. Main Street) and Main & Six Brewing Company (1636 N. Main Street) to savor a variety of unique local beers brewed fresh. Hyperion will be crafting a unique new brew just for the Tour!

ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Tour of Homes benefits Springfield Preservation & Revitalization (SPAR), the 501c3 grassroots organization dedicated to preserving the historic character, facilitating investment, and building community in the Springfield Historic District. The Tour of Homes has showcased the unique character of the community for 39 years, and is a major fundraiser for programming and services provided by SPAR Council.
