Gary Motes, Owner Operator at Hamburger Mary’s Jax has confirmed a second location is in the works and will be opening in the spot vacated by the Blind Rabbit restaurant, on King Street, in Riverside. July 2017 is the target date.
“The new location will be called Mary’s Pub House and it gears more towards casual dinning and sports,” Motes said. It will be a non-smoking food and sports bar.
Motes continued with; “It’s still the same quirky atmosphere. We will do a brunch and show, but it will not be the same elaborate show that we have at our main Jacksonville location. It will most likely just be one performer,”
When Hamburger Mary’s came to Jacksonville, Jax was their twelfth location.
With the new Mary’s Pub House variation Jax will be the second city in the USA to have one, behind Tampa, which also has a Hamburger Mary’s and a Mary’s Pub House, right next door to each other in Ybor.
