The city of Jacksonville has adopted a contactless payment option for Downtown street parking, meaning relief is on the way for anyone who’s had to dig around for loose change to feed a meter. The new ParkMobile app for iPhone, Android or any mobile web browser can be used for any space with a ParkMobile decal — that’s all 1,420 metered Downtown parking spaces by the end of this week. If you prefer to pay by change or cash, though, that’s still an option.
