Books Not Bullets event encourages the community to avoid violence and read books. Members of Moms Demand Action, the Greater Mount Salem Missionary Baptist Church, and Farm Share will be handing out books and healthy meals this Saturday.
Saturday’s event will be a way for families to get meals and reading material.
Organizers hope to encourage the community to put down guns and pick up books.

Feeding over 200 Families – meats, can goods, fruits, etc. enough to feed a family for a whole month.
