ALDI’s acquisition of Winn-Dixie and Harveys may put some pharmacists out of their jobs and force customers to find a new place to get prescriptions filled. Some Winn-Dixie and Harveys stores will be converted to ALDI stores after the merger is complete, and local Winn-Dixie pharmacists say the conversion will also mean closing in-store pharmacies. It’s not clear which stores will be reformatted or when the change may happen.
