5 p.m. April 7, 14, 21 and 28 at Riverfront Plaza. Free.
The free after-work Jax River Jams concert series launched last year returns for a second season to Riverfront Plaza, the downtown lawn where the Jacksonville Landing once stood. Like last year, each show pairs a national headliner with a local opening act. April 7 sees the Spin Doctors and Sister Hazel paired with Dirty Bird & the Flu. On April 14, Boyz II Men headline and Katz Downstairz and Mr. Al Pete open. Carly Pearce headlines on April 21, after opening sets by Dean Winter and the Heat and the Jon Stickley Trio. The series wraps up April 28 with Glazed and Lunar Vacation opening for indie rockers Manchester Orchestra.
