JUST ANNOUNCED at 8:30 am this morning;
3 Federal COVID-19 testing sites, run by the Florida Division of Emergency Management, will open on Wednesday, July 8th for 8 days. Those sites are:
*ARLINGTON: Regency Square Mall 9501 Arlington Expressway 32225 – Open 8AM to 6PM
*NORTHSIDE: First Coast High School 590 Duval Station Road 32218 – Open 8AM to 6PM
*WESTSIDE: Frank H. Peterson Academies 7450 Wilson Boulevard 32210 – Open 8AM to 6PM
It is strongly encouraged that citizens wanting to get tested make an appointment at https://doineedacovid19test.com/
This is a free drive-through testing site with tests administered for the active COVID-19 virus available for anyone ages 5+ regardless of symptoms. The Florida Division of Emergency Management asks that your vehicle have windows that open and close and that you remain in your vehicle. There are no restroom facilities available. They also discourage citizens from showing up prior to the testing sites opening due to lack of places for cars to wait at some of the sites.
