ART CONTEST
Get pumped for a month-long Virtual Art Scroll by joining us in a logo art contest! In case you haven’t noticed our website, DTJax.com, got a makeover and we’re encouraging everyone to recreate our new logo. From simply filling in the lines, watercolor, macaroni – don’t hesitate to get creative! You can find the coloring page on our website or Facebook page. Winners will receive a membership to a local museum and the Staff Favorite will be featured as our social media profile picture.

So many things to look forward to in June! In addition to the art contest, #ArtWalkJax has purchased local art from downtown galleries and will be doing a weekly giveaway. Tune in on June 7, 14 and 21 to enter!

Wednesday, JUNE 3RD
Tune in at 12 p.m. to catch Nico Suave painting some magic from her home while talking about her techniques and her organization, Kids Mural Project. Then at 6 p.m. we are announcing contest winners and jamming with Firewater Tent Revival until 8 p.m.
Wednesday, JUNE 10TH
At 12 p.m. hear from Artist Itzcali Huichol about her story and her beautiful hand stitched accessories. At 5:30 don’t miss an interview with Dansations Performing Arts Center’s Kim McDonough and graduating seniors then a virtual dance recital from the entire studio!
Wednesday, JUNE 17TH
At 12 p.m. Artist – Jennifer Mangaoang will be sharing her story about her art and life. Then at 6 p.m., enjoy a virtual cabaret The 5 and Dime Theatre!
Wednesday, JUNE 24TH
Catch an interview with Wolf + Cub at 12 p.m. to hear about how one of our favorite DTJax brick and mortars got started and what Bold City Pride means to them. Then, that evening at 6 p.m. tune back in for a night with JASMYN + Metro to celebrate Pride in the best, virtual way possible!
