What we are experiencing right now with this pandemic is an example of why federal funding is so crucial. Federal funds make a huge difference in the support and future of our community. For each person not counted, Jacksonville loses an estimated $1,500 in federal funding per year. That’s 15 thousand dollars over the next 10 years, for every person who is not counted.
