The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra is the largest full time orchestra in Florida, and ranks as one of the Top 40 symphonies in the country.

The Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts has one of the country’s largest concert organs, the 6,215-pipe Bryan Concert Organ. This 1914 Casavant was completely rebuilt and expanded to a kaleidoscopic 94 ranks, giving the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra the distinction as the first American orchestra to install an historic pipe organ in a new concert hall, which is acclaimed as one of the most acoustically superb concert halls in the country and only true symphony hall in the state of Florida.

FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, enhances the entertainment scene in Northeast Florida with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, dance productions, school performances, and variety shows. What began as a small program to make the arts more available to students at the local community college -now Florida State College at Jacksonville- has expanded into a well-rounded performing arts program that is available to the entire community.  The Artist Series utilizes some of Jacksonville’s best entertainment venues, such as the Times-Union Center in Downtown and Florida State College’s South Campus’ Wilson Center for the Arts.

The annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival is the second-largest jazz festival in the US. Taking place every year during Memorial Day Weekend, the Jacksonville Jazz Festival attracts more than 30,000 people and some of the best Jazz musicians to Downtown Jacksonville for three spectacular days.

The Florida Theatre is one of the finest concert venues in the Southeast. It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Elvis Presley performed one of his first indoor concerts at the historic Florida Theatre in 1957.

Theatre Jacksonville is the oldest continuously operating community theater in the country.

The Alhambra Theater and Dining is the oldest continually operating Dinner theater in the United States.

Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena
Check the event schedule to see which big performers are playing. Downtown Veterans Memorial Arena has hosted a variety of stars in the past including Billy Joel, Carrie Underwood, Rhianna, Elton John, Cher, Brad Paisley, and Ozzy Osborn.

Daily’s Place   A new state-of-the-art, multi-use complex adjacent to EverBank Field housing a 5,500-person capacity amphitheater and 94,000-square foot covered flex field.

The Elbow
The Elbow is a collection of bars, event spaces, restaurants, art galleries, shops and clubs located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. You can find live music every night of the week somewhere in The Elbow
